Editorial policy
The platform journals follow the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the principles of Open Access.
Open access
All articles are free to read, download and share without restrictions as soon as they are published. Articles are released under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) licence: the material may be used freely with attribution to the author.
Peer review
Every article is assessed by at least two independent reviewers in a double-blind process. Reviewers are chosen among specialists in the subject who have no conflict of interest with the authors. The final decision (accept, revise, reject) is made by the Editor-in-Chief on the basis of the reviews.
Publication ethics
Plagiarism, data falsification, simultaneous submission of one article to several journals and fake authorship are strictly prohibited. Violations are handled according to COPE flowcharts: the article is rejected or retracted. Authors must disclose conflicts of interest and funding sources.
Copyright
Copyright remains with the authors. Authors grant the journal the right of first publication and may deposit the article elsewhere (institutional repository, personal website) with a reference to the journal.
Archiving and DOI
Every article receives a DOI through Crossref. Full texts are permanently stored and archived on the platform.
Publication charges
If an article processing charge (APC) is set for a journal, it is shown in the author dashboard during submission. Payment is requested only after the article has successfully passed peer review and been accepted.
