The article examines Uzbekistan’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) from the perspective of foreign trade diversification and geoeconomic resilience. Using 2019-2025 data of the National Statistics Committee, the study calculates trade turnover dynamics, the compound annual growth rate, the export-to-import coverage ratio and partner concentration indicators. Turnover grew 1.98 times over six years, yet China and Russia jointly accounted for 37.2 percent of it, and gold made up almost a third of exports. The author argues that the gains from WTO membership depend on the quality of the trade structure more than on its volume and proposes a sectoral matrix of opportunities, risks and policy responses.
